Tethered to the International Space
Station, I am orbiting earth from inside the thermosphere, searching
for someone else’s voice inside of a vacuum. Floating in space fanned the flames of my senses as I discovered the greatest wavelengths of my art form. I pushed myself beyond my
comfort zone. I built a wooden box, filled it with clay and added metal,
aluminum, wire, and mirror to relay my interpretation of space.
